Senior SharePoint/ASP.NET/JavaScript Architect 

Atalasoft, the leading provider of .NET Imaging tools and Document Imaging Add-ons for SharePoint, is looking for senior-level ASP.NET Architect. Join us and help deliver applications for SharePoint based on our industry-leading, zero-footprint AJAX document viewing controls. At Atalasoft, we’re looking for the best engineers in the world, and then we give them the opportunity to excel. Our light, scrum-based process keeps you focused on delivering functionality that our customers need. We try to do things right (unit tests, continuous builds, bug tracking, etc) and we’re looking for others who work this way too.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of SharePoint applications in ASP.NET with a heavy dose of AJAX and JavaScript -- you are going to be writing a big chunk of it, too.
  • Architect ASP.NET based SharePoint applications that scale up in multi-server enterprise environments.
  • Work with the Atalasoft DotImage team who will deliver features in the SDK that you need for your applications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other technical field
  • 7 years of experience with at least the last two in delivering ASP.NET applications
  • Experience delivering scalable commercial ASP.NET based Applications
  • Excellent C# and JavaScript skills and experience writing AJAX based websites in ASP.NET. Experience with ExtJS, jQuery, or YUI is a plus.
  • Experience building web-based user interfaces (comfortable with web standards like HTML, CSS, and ASP.NET specific techniques like user controls and master pages)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Many of our engineers blog at www.atalasoft.com/blogs and present at local user groups. We’d like you to participate as well.
  • Experience developing for SharePoint is a major plus.

Inside Software Sales Representative

This corporate sales position is a member of the sales department and is responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas, following all corporate policies on sales, marketing, and customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment with your work and associates. Your primary function is to generate new business through new and existing customers.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelors Degree (or equivalent), sales or technical knowledge of software and software development preferred, with at least 1-year of technical sales experience. Please apply only if you are willing to live and work in the Western Massachusetts area and are authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Function and Responsibilities

  • Must understand the company’s current and future product and service offerings.
  • Less than 20% Travel
  • Must call a minimum of 20 leads a day or as needed to hit your assigned new-business sales quota.
  • Must understand and follow the company’s operation sales policies.
  • Meet or exceed individual monthly, quarterly and annual assigned sales quotas. Will also be required, as a member of the sales team, to make significant efforts to assist the company as a whole in meeting its monthly, quarterly and annual Sales Goals
  • When directed, must work with the accounting department in the collection of unpaid invoices.
  • Must work with new clients to extend long-term relationships and maximize
    customer lifetime value.
  • Communicate all prospect and client activity to sales manager.
  • Submit all expense reports with expense detail within a timely manner to the
    accounting department.
  • Document and record daily all sales activities into the corporate CRM system.
  • Communicate product or service issues, as related by prospects and existing clients, to the sales manager. Will also work with the Customer Support Department to resolve technical and licensing issues.
  • Work in parallel with other Sales Personnel to drive product evaluations by our customers and prospects and to generate accurate Quotations for customers and prospects to help increase sales of Atalasoft products and services
  • Attend and contribute in all sales meeting discussions as required.
  • Provide a positive work environment for all staff.
