Your blogs are truly helpful and I have added them to my Google home page. My favorite blog was titled, "5 Personality Traits of an Entrepreneur". I thought I was the only one obsessed with a chasing an idea. The information in your blog pointed out to me that I had an entrepreneurial trait. Getting back to my comment, currently I am a senior majoring in Computer Information Systems. To keep me busy outside of class I maintain a website http://www.CrunkFriends.com. The site is 9 months old and has over 12,000 active members. People think that I am crazy for spending 70+ hours a week on a web site that generates no revenue. Running the site is fun to me and I’m learning a lot about databases and ASP.NET. My plans after graduation on May 2006 will be to start a software company. One aspect of my company can be to build web sites for local businesses and churches. What do you think, is this a good idea, and what are some obstacles that I will face?
Thank you,
Brandon Poole

re: 5 Personality Traits of an Entrepreneur

Brandon,
Sorry for the late reply here. I know nothing about your space, developing a web business, but I do know it's quite difficult attracting members. 12,000 members is quite a few, and there are revenue generating ideas that could make a decent amount of money for you. Have you looked into adding google words on your site? In whatever your endeavers are, it looks like you are on the right track, and best of luck to you!
-Bill

another bootstrapper

I was reading Paul Graham's blog today and was pointed to a fellow entrepreneur and bootstrapper, Mike...

Work From Home Business

Money is very important for people.
